RFID Reader Module for PSION®-workabout KI-DHP111/DHP112 with telescope antenna KI-DAP100KI-DHP111.gif (506738 bytes)

The Agrident Reader Modules, KI-DHP111 and KI-DHP112, were specially designed as add-on equipment for the PSION®-workabout computer for contact less identification of animals or objects by means of passive transponders.  The reader modules are low price devices which easily fit on the PSION-workabout computer.  They are powered by the PSION's internal power supply.  Thanks to the compact outline, the low weight, and the ergonomic design, a high operating comfort is guaranteed.  The modules are prepared for the mounting of the KI-DAP100 telescope antenna.

With the KI-DAP100, it is possible to identify transponders over a distance of more than 1 meter (39.4-in,).  The telescope extension is easy to handle, extendable and easy to mount.

The Agrident Reader Modules are fully compatible with the ISO standard 11784/5 and thus read HDX and FDX-B compatible transponders.  Additionally, H4002 compatible transponders can be read.  The transponders are registered in short time within a large detection area.  Reading, controlled by the external processing unit, is possible in predetermined time intervals or continuous.

The Agrident Reader Modules contain a configurable interface to the PSION-workabout and enable the user to integrate the RFID technology into this application very easily.  The transponder data, read by the reader modules, can be made available in different data formats for further processing by application-specific software.  For designing the user-specific software, powerful programming environments for the PSION-workabout are available.  They guarantee flexibility, fast operation and optimal adaptation to the users demands.  The special variant KI-DHP112 of the Agrident Reader Module provides the RS232 interface of the PSION-workabout computer.  For this purpose the identification data can also be automatically connected to data of external units like e.g. a barcode-scanner, a weighing system or similar devices.  Accordingly, the data can also be made available to a PC, printer, etc. for further processing.  If the variant KI-DHP111 is used, additional data can be linked to identification data only manually by using the keyboard on the PSION-workabout.
