e.TAG®
e.TAGS® assign a a unique numeric identity
to swine through universally recognized radio frequency technology. Each e.TAG contains a passive, full duplex (FDX-B) radio frequency identification
(RFID) transponder encoded with a 15 digit identification number that can be
read in milliseconds. The FDX-B technology is ideally suited for environments where electrical noise, moisture, or large metal surfaces are
present. e.TAG male pins are treated with Infecta + Guard® to
reduce risk of infection and disease transfer and to facilitate proper healing.
